following ICU services are provided in MICU and CCU

The ICU team works together to provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients. They monitor patient's condition closely, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed, and communicate with the patient's family about their progress.

  • Continuous Monitoring: ICU patients are continuously monitored for vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature.
  • Mechanical Ventilation: Patients who are unable to breathe on their own may require mechanical ventilation to support their breathing.
  • Dialysis: Patients with kidney failure may require dialysis to remove waste products from their blood.
  • Intravenous Fluids and Medications: ICU patients often receive intravenous fluids and medications to maintain their fluid balance and treat their underlying conditions.
  • Blood Transfusions: Patients who have lost blood due to surgery, trauma, or other causes may require blood transfusions.
  • Nutritional Support: ICU patients may require nutritional support through feeding tubes or intravenous nutrition.
  • Pain Management: ICU staff work to manage pain and discomfort through medication and other techniques.
  • Infection Prevention and Control: Strict infection control measures are in place to prevent the spread of infection among patients and staff.

The ICU team is made up of a variety of healthcare professionals, including:

  • Intensivist: A physician who specializes in critical care medicine.
  • Critical Care Nurse: Highly trained nurses who provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs.
  • Respiratory Therapist: Specializes in respiratory care, including mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy.
  • Pharmacist: Manages medication therapy and monitors for drug interactions and adverse effects.
  • Dietitian: Provides nutritional counseling and develops individualized meal plans.
  • Physical Therapist: Helps patients regain strength and mobility.
  • Occupational Therapist: Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps them return to their normal activities

  • 1. Login into CPGRAM
  • 2. In section "Grievance Detail" select "Others/Not Listed/Not Known"
  • 3. In the "Ministry/Department" Drop Down Select ESIC
  • 4. In "Subordinate Department/Office" select the Regional Office
  • 5. Provide details of the complaint
